Why Choose Us?
Our company size is optimal for quality client relationships. Big brands may give a sense of credibility, but often clients become just a number. We are management owned, thus we have a personal interest in the company. We aim to build lasting personal relationships with our clients and to be part of their financial journey that spans generations.
That means we’re not tied agents that just sell you just one company’s products. We have contracts with many different product providers which enables us to tailor a financial planning experience that best suit your needs and preferences.
Most advisors in SA have Category I licences, which means they are not qualified investment managers that can actively manage your investments. Consequently they require you to sign off on every action done on your behalf. This may sound good from a control perspective - but it requires far more admin from you and significantly reduces the flexibility needed to effectively respond to market dynamics. We have a FSCA CAT II licence which means we have the qualifications and expertise to actively manage your investments, and make decisions on your behalf within the confines of a mandate that you sign with us. This frees up your time spent on admin, but also enables us to make investment management efficient and effective.

Principles & Values
How we do business
Principles
• We never take client deposits onto our balance sheet / bank account.
This means there is no risk of us running away with your money.
• We do not charge initial / upfront fees on investments.
Rather, by charging an annual fee as a percentage of assets under management, we align our interests with yours. That is – we are remunerated proportionally inline with the growth of your investments instead of taking a fee before we’ve proven ourselves.
• We are not insurance salesmen.
Although we offer insurance products, we believe life insurance policies sold to you should be suitable and specific to your overall planning needs, and not be written for a quick buck.
• Transparency and clarity.
We take pride in ensuring our clients understand what they are investing in, how it works, what the risks are and how much it costs.
• Capital preservation is goal number one, capital growth is goal number two.
You’ve worked hard for your money, we aim to make your money work hard for you. But taking excessive risk for outsized returns is not how we do business.
Values
• Integrity
We answer to clients but also to God – and that scares us.
• Honesty
In what we’re doing and what we can do better.
• Trust
We won’t invest your money in anything we aren’t investing in ourselves.
